For the last decade or so, I have lived near a Great Lake. It is this large body of water that has kept me from getting lost, by simply looking out and gaining directional perspective. It made me think about being lost, being lost at sea, being seperated from what we know, what we had known, who we were when this body of water didn't cut through this land.
